Hello and happy Friday and thanks so much clicking in to read the latest issue of the Spotify Newsletter.

The countdown is on! Spotify StreamOn is all set for March 8. The event will showcase the company's latest engagement tools designed to help music creators build new audiences.

There was a lots of top shelf news floating around this week — but I know next week’s issue is going to be overflowing with all the big announcements from the show.

As for the week we’re closing the book on…. How about that sayonora to the Heart button, and hello to the Plus button? Anyone bummed we’re losing the ♥️ for the ➕?

As noted by Spotify, this new “plus” button not only lets you save songs and podcasts to your library or other playlists but also lets you add entire albums, playlists, and audiobooks.

I’m not bothered, but I admit that the Heart really affirms my ‘like/love’ for a particular song or album. Something about the Heart icon adds the extra oomph to the experience. Again, not bothered!
