Hello! Happy Friday! Thanks for reading the latest issue of the Spotify Newsletter.
Spotify Stock is on a tear. Shares of Spotify have been trading red-hot in recent weeks. Analyst comments are almost all bullish, and expectations are high for further gains in the near term.
The music streaming giant has now gained over 200% in little more than a year, and as we round the corner into February, those gains aren’t going anywhere.
“All things equal, it’s looking like the stock has the right mix of tailwinds and catalysts to get it there. As mentioned above, the prospect of a rate cut is sending investors rushing back into stocks, especially those still recovering from recent sell-offs like Spotify. There was also a solid update last week with regards to in-app purchasing of subscriptions and audiobooks on iPhones, which will boost sales and revenue.” (MB)
Have a great weekend!!

🎹 Billy Joel! 🎹
When the world is running down…. a new Billy Joel tune makes the day brighter.
Billy Joel‘s new single “Turn the Lights Back On,” his first original song in 17 years, has been released. And it’s darn good! The sweet ballad has been on repeat since it debuted. Love it!
Joel will debut the song live at the Grammys on Sunday night.
The singer last shared new music back in 2007. His last album was 1993’s “River of Dreams. “
He will perform his final and 150th show at New York City’s Madison Square Garden on July 25, 2024, bringing an end to the record-breaking and unprecedented residency that began 10 years ago. Fans can also catch Billy at his seven stadium shows this year, including some with special guests like Stevie Nicks, Sting, and Rod Stewart.
