The Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday, citing people close to the conversations, that the conversations centered on potential partnerships for a music awards show, a live concert series, celebrity interviews, as well as documentary projects with shorter turnarounds to remain relevant.

Ten years after the debut of Discover Weekly, Spotify Premium users will see new controls at the top of the playlist, which allow them to push their recommendations toward certain genres.
