Hello and thanks for taking a look at this week’s Spotify Newsletter. Someone mentioned Spotify Wrapped the other day, and I realized we are about a month away from the big event - and that is exactly what it has become: A personal celebration of the artists, songs, and podcasts that defined the year.
Spotify recently released the Only You feature - which gives users personalized playlists in a shareable form - to try and tap into the Wrapped excitement more than once a year, but for my money noting is better than the anticipation and eventual joy of drenching your self with all that audio data compiled from the previous year.
I’ll be surprised if Style Council’s ‘Changing of the Guard’ isn’t my most listened-to song, considering how many times I’ve played it throughout 2021. I’m excited to see all the data and details. Always a treat from the team at Spotify. 😀
