What's In the (Spotify) Box?

A Saturday post? Really? Well… it seems that - at least for a short period of time on Friday - a photo was buzzing across the ‘Net of Harry Styles strolling the streets of London carrying a Spotify box.

A nice-looking Spotify box, I might add.

Of course, fans of the singer, as well as Spotify newsletter curators, were intrigued as to…. [Cue: Mr. Pitt]….

It was all rather exciting. There was lots of fun speculation. No one could quite put their finger on what Harry had in the box.

Soon enough the answer, we think, was found.

A Twitter person / Harry Styles fan noted:

abbey studios gives one spotify vinylbox in partnership with spotify, when an artists finishes an album with them and spotify is the/one of the publisher.

The Twitter person went on to say that…

its all customized and designed for the artist and album to, it usually includes a vinyl and some other stuff also it has the same size of the abbey road book of the special edition so it can be something to with just harrys development and pictures maybe?

So there it is. That looks about right, right?

I thought maybe they were selling t-shirts or other merchandise. But if Harry is leaving Abbey Road Studios it all makes sense.

There was loads more chatter about new Harry Styles music and blah blah blah … I was just more focused on the box.

I’d like one, personally.

No one was as curious about the contents of the Gucci bag.

But that Spotify box definitely lit up the Spotify corner of the globe.
